An intentional retreat to connect and integrate the deeper parts of yourself
In collaboration with Sambali Beach Farm in Zambales, we are offering an intentional and unique retreat to start 2023 from a place of wholeness.
Curated and guided by somatic therapist and embodiment facilitator Chloe Calderon Chotrani of Body as Earth, featuring breathwork facilitator Reef Liggayu of Breathwork PH.
Join us on a contemplative journey filled with an embodiment workshop to ground our bodies, supercharged with transformational breathwork session on the mountains, a ceremonial evening with cacao to elate our spirits, and integration support and care.
All these enhanced by incredible nature of Mount Calib-ungan, Stream of Life, and nourishing farm to table meals tailored for the retreat by Teahouse at Sambali Beach Farm.
Only 3 hours away from Manila for 1 weekend with only 12 slots.
Navigate 2023 from a Place of Wholeness
On January 6th – 8th; time and space will be purely for you to deep dive into your intentions for 2023, and for you to be supported on your journey.
This time is useful for letting go of habits that no longer serve us, and moving forward into the new cycle with a renewed commitment to a soul aligned way of living.
The labyrinth is an ancient symbol of wholeness. Its journey represents the turns, tumbles, triggers, tides, and struggles of our existence.
This retreat is designed, coded, and structured in a way to bring us into deeper connection to our bodies, anchor us into our breathing, intentional grounding with nature, and a sacred space set aside to connect with our soul or higher self.
As we await a new year and cycle, we continue to navigate the whirlwind of living. Labyrinth to the Soul is here for you to connect and integrate the deeper parts of yourself to feel whole from within.
We are thrilled to welcome you to Labyrinth to the Soul!
What’s
Included
-
Opening and closings are important markers of transition.
We will be opening the retreat with an Intention Circle where will connect with our core purpose and intention for 2023. This will be done through guided meditation, movement to clear the body, and a journaling practice.
We will close the retreat with an Integration Circle that will help us bring the lessons and insights from the retreat into our lives. This will be held at the Stream of Life, we will have a water cleansing ceremony and collective sharing.
Lead by Chloe, a trained somatic therapist and embodiment guide.
-
We usually perceive nature as outside of us, yet it can also be found within. This is a movement journey to rediscover your inner nature.
Transform and deepen your relationship with your body, as you access a natural state of fluidity through movement.
Guided by Chloe, you’ll engage in movement exercises that aim to strengthen your mind-body connection, regulate your nervous system, and invite vitality.
Through this embodiment journey, you can begin to find alignment, gain tools for emotional regulation, and learn to see your body as a vessel for processing the world.
-
Breathwork will be guided by our featured facilitator, Reef.
Reef grows microgreens, makes art of varying disciplines, & teaches breathwork; but above all, he seeks to be most himself.
His breathwork encompasses a holistic & scientific approach, combining the practices of Oxygen Advantage & Breathwork Africa, and defines breathwork itself as the art of conscious breathing — knowing how to breathe, in the right context, at the right time.
Cueing every session are the lessons of how to properly breathe (biomechanics) and the physiology that behaves like waves (biochemistry), followed by a guided active-meditation, then closed with a minute Breathing Break to take home.

— manage stress

Ceremony
Since the time of indigenous caretaking of the land, ceremony has been known to be a bridge to nature. A way to connect us deeper to earth. Ceremonies are the bridge to balance the modern and ancient, they help us feel more whole, aligned, and connected on a mind-body and soul level.
Working at spiritual levels helps us to realise that there is deeper meaning in our experience and even in our trauma.
In this ceremony, there will be guided meditations, communing with the spirit of cacao, and an intentionally structured flow to bring us deeper into an embodied and spiritual experience.
Cacao
Cacao Ceremonies have existed for thousands years in the Amazonian and Mayan traditions. Through the Spaniards, cacao seeds have migrated and made their way to the Philippine islands. In our region, the Philippines has adopted cacao as part of our everyday, and we have discovered natural methods (tablea) to preserve it at its highest quality.

This is for people seeking a deeper connection with their bodies, nervous system regulation, and deep states of rest and recovery.
Do you experience separation between the mind and body? Chronic stress, anxiety, pain, trauma, or burn out? Do you need support for body ailments or additional support for medical treatment? Is it challenging for you to receive help or to stay emotionally balanced?
Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy (BCST) may be supportive for you.
Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy is a gentle non-invasive, hands-on session for the whole body. Performed on a massage table, the client is fully clothed and the practitioner touch is light and still. The session focus is to support the inherent health of the whole being, especially the nervous system. The nervous system dictates all of the body’s functioning, constantly sending and receiving information.
The Biodynamic approach has evolved into a remarkable body therapy that has created a highly-skilled way of listening to the body’s inherent health expressions.
The therapist typically looks for and encourages the forces of health to set the priorities of the session and to bring about natural adjustments from within the body’s own resources.
Php 2,200 per person for a 90 minute session

Have you ever seen the circles within your cup, the rectangles within your gadgets, the patterns within a flower? Everything around us has their own shape’s within them.
Forest shares how he see shapes everywhere, how he uses them in movement, how he takes inspiration from the things around and how you can too.
Forest Liggayu is a multidisciplinary artist, who uses his knowledge in fine arts and geometry as concepts in his dance. He loves to open the minds of his students by teaching them how to look closer at things they see or do – and use those as inspiration.

Journey from Zambales to Manila
About the facilitators
Chloe
Chloe spent her youth deep in the study of world movement forms; from the underground dance scenes of Metro Manila to traditional forms in West Africa, to the downtown dance scene in New York, and her travels around Southeast Asia.
Having grown up with selective mutism, difficulty of speaking was an invitation for Chloe to express through her body instead of her voice. She was intrigued and enlivened by dancing and found deep joyous healing in dancing and movement.
On the deepest level,
change
always involves the body.
Dancing as her main refuge; her deep listening skills were refined, her somatic (body) intelligence was sharpened, and her intuitive attuning was precise.
Today, Chloe specialises in bridging the mind body split and is now able to comfortably speak without difficulty and continues to share the healing power of the body through embodiment workshops.
Reef
Reef grows microgreens, makes art of varying disciplines, & teaches breathwork; but above all, he seeks to be most himself.
His breathwork encompasses a holistic & scientific approach, combining the practices of Oxygen Advantage & Breathwork Africa, and defines breathwork itself as the art of conscious breathing — knowing how to breathe, in the right context, at the right time.
The mind masters the senses;
the breath masters the mind.
Cueing every session are the lessons of how to properly breathe (biomechanics) and the physiology that behaves like waves (biochemistry), followed by a guided active-meditation, then closed with a minute Breathing Break to take home.
Who is this for?
This is for you if you are seeking:

-
No planning – please do all the planning for me! I just want to show up.
Sambali Beach Farm
more about
Founded in 2000 by Ching Camara, Sambali is an organic, sustainable beach farm that produces various vegetables, livestock, and other products manufactured in-house. The property spans 8 hectares and is set in the local fishing village of Danacbunga in Botolan, Zambales.
The farm began as a small garden for the beach house, with plants and trees that were useful for the Camara Family’s consumption, like garden herbs and vegetables, and some of their trees as building materials.
The demand for Sambali’s produce grew gradually over the years and it is now a full-fledged beach farm catering to many people and their organic needs
