Oceanic Body is a 3 day deep dive into the wisdom of the water within our bodies. A space to enter into a state of deep time that can shift the way we navigate the turbulence, and currents of life.
Modern way of life has coerced us towards the violence of rushing and pursuit of perfection. This drives us into daily distraction, and compounded tension that leads into chronic fatigue and long term dis ease.
Deep time invites us into collective effervescence expressed through gathering with a shared intention, into our bountiful bodies and the wisdom it holds, and into nervous system health through nature, meditative sound journeys, and primal movement; as our ancestors once did.
Space held by trauma-informed facilitator and embodiment guide Chloe of Body as Earth and soundscapes meditative journeys with Dr. Foo.
Live over the water at the rustic yet tasteful Telunas, a secluded beach on Sugi Island, only a 2 hour ferry ride away from Singapore.

An embodied exploration enliven nature within.
A space to let the body speak before the mind. Through movement as a gateway, we’ll work with the intention to feel free in your body.
We will begin with a somatic (body based) awareness practice, followed by opening the spine through simple yet effective spinal flow sequence. We will then be guided to transition into an intuitive flow. We close with a deep nidra and sound bath to bring the body into equilibrium.
Chloe is trauma aware and assures accessibility in movement for all bodies.
Embodiment is the practice of being fully present in your body, acknowledging its wisdom and intelligence. Movement is integral to embodiment, serving as a gateway to express emotions, release tension, and enhance the mind-body connection
In a world often dominated by cognitive or mental control, embodiment practices aim to shift the focus to a more holistic approach.
In other words, embodiment emphasizes the bidirectional relationship between the mind and body. It acknowledges that the body holds valuable information, emotions, and intelligence, and by tuning into the body’s signals, we can manage our mental states, decision-making processes, and overall well-being. Embodying a shift from mind control to a holistic integration.
This shift from mind controlling body (top to bottom) to a body integrated approach, where the body informs and guides the mind (bottom to top), is a fundamental principle in embodiment practices.
Embodiment is a journey from mind control to a harmonious integration, where movement becomes a profound tool for self-expression, emotional release, and holistic well-being allowing movements to guide our mind.
Sound frequencies resonate with the body’s natural rhythms, helping to move internal stagnant energy, and alter brainwave patterns. Sound elevates mood, improves focus, and creates connection to the inner self. While, somatic practices and guidance attunes us to the internal world of our bodies, bridging a deeper mind-body connection. This daily session integrates both the wisdom of our bodies through Somatics and the supportive healing frequencies of Sound.
Rooting our bodies through the sounds of Himalayan singing bowls, binaural frequencies, deep dronal synthesisers, and shamanic sounds. We progress to the lighter heart sounds of the harp, handpan and other melodic sounds as we allow our inner compass to resonate at its own pace.
Studies show that the collective energy of a group can amplify the positive effects of a meditative state, leading to long term deep rest and increased focused. Experience the transformative power of Somatic Soundscapes, where collective awareness through movement and music leads to deeper presence.
Our beachside ecstatic dance combines the expansive beauty of the ocean with the liberating power of movement and sound. Dance has been used to foster deeper and sacred connections since the dawn of time through rituals across world cultures. Set against the backdrop of the sunset and the full moon, this dance creates a sacred ritual space to celebrate of life, unity, and the natural world.
Dr Foo is known for his seamless weaving of unique sonic journey harnessing over a decade of DJ experience across world genres, further enhanced by his vulnerability & sensitivity as a space holder, yogi and sound healer. While, Chloe opens and closes the dance to flow into deeper state of collective embodied presence together. Both DJ Dr Foo and Chloe have been working together for the past 3 years.
Chloe created Body as Earth, a space advocating for the wisdom of the body as a conduit for the deep change we seek in the world.
She is a certified somatic therapist and trauma sensitive advocate, as well as a community organiser, and movement artist.
She responds to the poly-crisis by advocating for ancestral animistic practices through her labor of bridging embodied wisdom to communities. Her work navigates the unwinding of collective trauma stored in the body.
Chloe is a queer woman, neuro-divergent aware, and of Sindhi-Tagalog mixed heritage.
Sek Sheng, also known by his artist name ‘Dr Foo’, is a conscious musician/ DJ & sound meditation facilitator who prescribes music for healing and integration of deeper aspects of the self.
Starting as an underground club DJ in Melbourne to immersing in yogic journeys worldwide, learning the power of sound for therapy. Bringing 10 years of deep sonic tapestry.
He believes that sound is a universal language that can re-awaken our innate connection with all, and serve as a sacred medium. His sound journeys weave therapeutic instruments with hypnotic electronic, and ethnic music across cultures; emphasising owning our darkness before true healing and expansion can occur.

“Thank you to Chloe and Lisa for holding open one of the safest containers I’ve experienced yet. Really appreciated the range of topics covered, diversity of options to choose from, communities & spaces acknowledged / holding us as we explore, being sensitive to the realities of the staff supporting our comfort and convenience as we come together to do our work. Deep gratitude and best of wishes to all who pass through this magical container.” – Genevieve Ong, Singapore
“A sacred, humbling, healing, precious time and space for gathering to listen to inner voices and channel the wisdoms from those before me, Mother nature, and those around me in soulful community. A much needed reminder to prioritize what is important and recalibrate relationships to my self, the natural environment, and those around me. Thank you for facilitating, holding space, and creating communities of care.”
“Sensitive, joyful, nourishing, grounding solidarity building in a paradisiaque location infused with healing energies and tangible practices. Chloe is a wonderful facilitator and collaborator who has woven together a beautiful tapestry that we may drape lovingly on ourselves from time to time after the retreat.” – L.H, Theater Practitioner & Educator, Singapore
“This retreat was transformative, kind, and loving. It’s hard to find retreats and people I can trust to hold space for mental health practitioners like me. Chloe, the rest of the team, and the whole community are deep in love and in study, and are therefore trustworthy. I have come out of this retreat reawakened, more kind to my body, and with a stronger sense of belonging.” – Gabes, Psychotherapist, Educator & Community Organiser, Philippines
“Feeling spacious, embodied, and slowed. A strong sense of a return to myself and the resources I’ve already built. A lot that I’ve taken home with me that I don’t know how to articulate, but I trust is going to continue emerging in the coming months.”
“The Oceanic Retreat was spaciously structured such that there was sufficient time for my own decompression and processing, yet also programs like Embodied Landscape to anchor. I felt nourished and gained more clarity as a result of carving out a weekend for this retreat.”
“This is my first time attending a ritualistic retreat. Telunas resort is perfect, beautiful and quiet. Chloe’s approach in facilitating the exercises are just the right amount of time and self exploration. It really tune up my body, mind and soul.”
“Deeply validating for me as someone who has struggled with isolation (due to health co-morbidities/ alienation of Singapore life), to know that there are others out there who understand holistic worldviews & are trying to navigate it as best as they can.” – John

Biodynamic Somatic Therapy is a method of gently realigning the body’s dynamics to release tension, restore balance, and support holistic healing from chronic pain, stress, and emotional volatility.
Biodynamic Somatic Therapy (BST) is a gentle, hands-on approach that works with the body’s natural rhythms to reorganise from misaligned or overworked states into more fluid, available, and spacious states of internal harmony.
Rooted in Craniosacral dynamics, BST focuses on the spine—the core of the central nervous system—helping to address chronic pain, fatigue, anxiety, insomnia, and the lingering effects of trauma.
