Somatic Therapist | Embodiment Facilitator | Performing Artist

Chloe Calderon Chotrani

Chloe created Body as Earth, a space advocating for the wisdom of the body as a conduit for deep transformational change.

Somatic Therapist | Embodiment Facilitator | Performing Artist

Chloe is a world-class somatic therapist, trauma-informed embodiment facilitator, and professional dancer whose work bridges continents, cultures, and cosmologies.

With over a decade of international experience, she brings a rare synthesis of movement mastery, therapeutic depth, and cross-cultural attunement to every space she holds.

Drawing from a rich lineage of Pakistani-Indian-Filipina-Singaporean heritage, Chloe moves through the world with a nuanced awareness of ancestral complexity, offering care that is relational, grounded, and globally resonant.

She has immersed herself in world movement traditions—from the underground street dance scenes of Metro Manila to the sacred rhythms of West African folk dances, and the contemporary stages of New York and Singapore. Her artistry lives at the edge where performance becomes ritual, and the body becomes a site of memory, healing, and transformation.

Chloe is trained as a Craniosacral Therapist (Body Intelligence, PACST-accredited), and draws upon deep mentorship in trauma-sensitive facilitation, somatic education, and native wisdom traditions. Her work meets people at the thresholds—where mind, body, and spirit feel fragmented—and gently invites coherence.

She supports clients navigating chronic stress, inflammation, burnout, neurodivergence, and the residues of collective trauma, guiding them back into relational presence with themselves, others, and the living Earth.

In addition to her clinical and artistic practice, Chloe is actively involved in mutual aid projects supporting Indigenous communities in the Philippines. Her commitment to embodied justice extends beyond the treatment room or studio, into community-based initiatives that center relational repair, earth sovereignty, and intergenerational resilience.

As a performer, she has represented the Philippines on international stages, collaborated with artists across Singapore, London, Malaysia, Indonesia, West Africa, and North America, and trained in diverse traditional forms. Currently, she is an Associate Artist with Chowk Productions, an Oddisi dance company in Singapore. She holds a deep respect for the subtle body and sees movement as a language of soul.

With deep presence, Chloe invites the wisdom of the body to be at the forefront of her loving labour. Her facilitation is rooted in a commitment to Earth-rooted healing, cultural sensitivity, and ecological repair.

Biodynamic Somatic Therapy in Singapore

June 21 - 30, 2025

Biodynamic Somatic Therapy is a method of gently realigning the body’s dynamics to release tension, restore balance, and support holistic healing from chronic pain, stress, and emotional volatility.

Biodynamic Somatic Therapy (BST) is a gentle, hands-on approach that works with the body’s natural rhythms to reorganise from misaligned or overworked states into more fluid, available, and spacious states of internal harmony.

Rooted in Craniosacral dynamics, BST focuses on the spine—the core of the central nervous system—helping to address chronic pain, fatigue, anxiety, insomnia, and the lingering effects of trauma.
